Kale Chips

How many of you enjoy a snack of chips every once in a while? I do too but I don’t know about you but it is easy for me to overdo it. So, I try to avoid them at all costs but then I discovered kale chips. Let me tell you, these suckers are fantastic! It amazes me that baking what is essentially a leaf turns to a snack that tastes like a crispy chip!

Here’s how you make them; the whole process takes only 20 minutes! –

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

2. With a knife or kitchen shears carefully remove the leaves from the thick stems and tear into bite size pieces. Wash and thoroughly dry kale with a salad spinner. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt (or the seasoning of your choice!).

3. Bake in a single layer until the edges brown but are not burnt, around 10 to 15 minutes.
